The Chasm - Piccaninnie Ponds
The crystal clear waters of Piccaninnie Ponds have been slowly filtering through the limestone and forming the Pond's features over thousands of years. The freshwater rising to the surface under pressure has eroded a weakness in the limestone to form The Chasm.

The Little River Springs cave system in Florida is a beautiful cave that pumps crystal clear water out to the Suwannee River. When the Suwannee River rises, tannic water can intrude into the cave system and reverse the flow.
